How many of us have dreamt of telling a colleague, or even your boss, that thier negative attitude is disruptive and demotivating?!
But at work, an environment which forces us to work with those we don’t always like, it’s not easy. When is courageous conversation worth it?
Part of my work is to help people decide if that conversation is necessary or if it is just about ego. Is the person in question affecting the companies morale, the teams productivity and their work enjoyment?
When there is a bad apple in the company, even if they are at the top, Courage and action are always in order. I’ve lived it and I have definitely learnt from it!
