Should you interrupt?

21 Jun Should you interrupt?

This article advocates that interruption are necessary to ensure that your opinions are not overlooked.

Most people that I work with hate being interrupted. It makes them feel undervalued and overlooked. If that describes you, then why do it to others?

However, if you are unable to get your opinion through the noise, then my advise would be to interrupt only when the relevant point is about to pass. You can interrupt politely by saying, ‘before we move on, I would like to point out that….’. This is interrupting with purpose because your opinion matters!

What do you think??

“Don’t wait. If you wait for the right moment, the moment will be lost. Interruptions are not about being polite or showing off your excellent dinner table manners”
